I’m SUPER excited to introduce to the hunting world a new and better way to carry and manage your scent products – Buck’s ScentSac. This is the first and only product that I’ve seen to put all your scent supplies in one convenient location. Not only can it carry a scent bottle, but includes storage pouches for extra WickStix and WickLeashes, and most importantly, features a rubberized (washable) pouch to store used wicks so you can reuse them at a later time.
This pack has a built in strap on the back for simple attachment to a belt or a backpack strap. No longer do you have to dig around in your backpack trying to locate your scent in the dark. And no longer do you have to search for your wicks when you go to pick them up at night – the reflective material on the WickLeashes makes them light up in the dark of the night. For this reason, our WickLeashes double as reusable trail markers. Together, Buck’s ScentSac, WickStix and WickLeashes make the best and easiest way to use scent.

Buck’s Deerscent is now owned and operated out of Duluth, Minnesota by Doug Manthey. The previous owner, George Huschle (son-in-law of “Buck” Johnson), passed away from cancer on May 25, 2016. Doug was a long time family friend of George and he was the person who introduced Doug to deer hunting many years ago. Doug is very honored to take on this legacy and looks forward to continue producing Buck’s original, handcrafted recipe.
